Inspirational Speech - Dying Professor Last Lecture 1

Hi Planet,

I manage to come across these series of videos through a good friend from Malaysia. Truly inspirational speech/lectures from a Dying Professor that are giving his last lecture series. Now, i am proud to share with you on such a motivational figure that would like to walk the rest of his steps on earth by lecturing positivesness to as many people as possible.

Randy Pausch set the tone early in Sept 2007 at his farewell lecture at Carnegie Mellon University.

"If I don't seem as depressed or morose as I should be, sorry to disappoint you," said Dr. Pausch.

It is probably the last public speech Dr. Pausch will give anywhere. The 46-year-old computer science professor and father of three preschoolers has incurable pancreatic cancer. Doctors have given him months to live.

Yet, standing at the podium in McConomy Auditorium on the campus yesterday, Randy Pausch did not focus on impending death. Instead, he celebrated the chance he had been given to live the life he always had dreamed of.

I salute you Dr. Pausch for your positiveness!

Broaden Our Search Horizons

I was reading a local IT newspaper recently and came across an article contributed by someone known as Mike Lee which shares with the public on the alternatives besides Google being the favourite search engine.

Google is indeed every other person's search engine on the web. They are followed closely by Yahoo search engines and then MSN/Windows Live. But being happy with these 3 engines doesn't mean we have to be faithful to them alone. They are several others that are worth trying.

Have been searching for song title: I Believe I Can Fly, to add into the Inspirational Songs Label and i was so lucky to find out two versions of it. Both equally inspiring!

First must be this one that paid tribute to the Great Number 23 of Chicago Bulls - Micheal "The Air" Jordan. With the song and the video, it just show me one thing - Nothing is Impossible. Jordan has been dancing and Flying in his stage, the basketball court. Go check it out! He is literally FLYING his way to success. Who say basketball players can "fly" to win the game. She had a passion and a dream - That is to become a performer, like that teenage performer that she sees from Hollywood and Disneyland. Inspirational Songs - CAKE I Will Survive

Hey Planet,

Have been looking for this video for a while. Great song by All Time Great CAKE. There are many renditions and versions by others, but i thought this one by CAKE is damn cool and inspiring. Encouraging and Simply give me the: "Hang on Bro, You Can Survive"!! kind of motivation.

Heard this rendition of the song when i was in army days, where a buddy of mind was jilted by his gf of 6 years. Think this song, plus of course my company - have really get him to get over the girl and i last heard he is a bodybuilder in Australia for last few years. Truly a great song of enormous attitude!



Been looking around to find more of such Inspirational Songs, that can touch heart and help people in this world to stay stronger and be happier. Stay Cheerful!
